Metronomics for Android

Although it started as just a project for iPhone, Metronomics has grown over the years and now has releases for iPhone, iPad, OSX, and even Android.

The Android version has the same features as the iOS version and works great on your Android phone or tablet.

You can download Metronomics for Android from the Google Play store.

Metronomics HD for iPad and Mac

Metronomics HD, the big brother to the original Metronomics iOS app is now available in the App Store!

I’m very proud of this app and poured a ton of time and effort into it over the last 9 months or so.  Please head over to to check it out.

John Nastos NYC Quartet at Ivories!

I’m very excited to have a rare opportunity to perform with some of my ex-schoolmates from New York City on January 11th at Ivories Jazz Club in Portland.

The band will feature Sam Harris on piano, Garrett Dickens on drums, Portlander Bill Athens on bass, and a variety of guests.  Please stop by — this is a rare chance to see these people play!

New version of Metronomics!

A year after it’s introduction to the App Store, version 4.0 of Metronomics for iOS has been released.

The new version adds to Metronomics’ already extensive feature list and I’m pretty confident that it will keep everyone from beginners to seasoned pros busy with practice possibilities.

Check out for more information or head right to the App Store to download it.

Now that version 4.0 for iOS is out, I’m going to devote some time to getting the Mac OSX version of the program done.  The goal for the OSX version is feature parity with the iOS version at first, with the ability to expand later to concepts that may not work well on a portable device but are more practical on an OSX machine.
