Played last night with Drew Shoals at Zaytoon on Alberta. Apparently the Alberta neighborhood tends to slow down a lot the week after their “Last Thursday” event, so the crowd was a bit on the thin side, but still a fun gig. I was playing a lot of tenor and Damian was playing his beautiful new fretless, so there was a lot of experimentation with new sounds.This morning, Drew, Damian, and I got together after our short break and rehearsed with Clay for the upcoming E4 show. The Sunday morning rehearsal was made much more enjoyable by the fact the Damian and Cortney were having a waffle party afterwards.
