On Thursday, June 5th, you can catch two different shows for free that I’ll be a part of. The first takes place at the Someday Lounge, where I’ll be playing the happy-hour set with Drew Shoals starting at 5 o’clock. Then, at 9 o’clock, you can find me playing trio with guitarist Mike Pardew and bassist Dave Captein as part of Mike’s Cuerda Jazz Series at Vindahlo (a fabulous Middle-East/Eastern restaurant on SE 20th and Clinton).

In other news, JazzPDX.org continues to go smoothly with frequent updates about shows in the area. Soon, I’ll be launching PDXMusicSource, a website that will be set up a lot like JazzPDX, but will feature all styles of music in Portland, not just jazz. Last night, I played a fun gig at Tony Starlight’s with Shelly Rudolph’s band. The band played great and was a good combination of people – Dave Captein, Russ Kleiner, and Clay Giberson.
